How it works

Our no-cost, 1-step evaluation process

Alpha Prop's evaluation process involves real-time trading to showcase your trading skills. We aim to learn how disciplined you are with risk and money management, and whether you can consistently identify your high-probability trades.

• Sign up here. There is no fee.
• Connect your trade platform to our trade copier. We work with MT4/5, cTrader, FXCM Trading Station, LMAX, DXTrade, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and Fortex.
• Send your highest confidence trades to our trade copier. You will be evaluated on the first 32 trades you send.
• Your goal is to achieve a greater than 75% win rate. At least 24 of your 32 trades must be profitable. You have up to 90 days to complete this task.

Conditions to successfully complete the evaluation:

• Trading period: up to 90 calendar days
• Total trades: 32
• Profitable trades: 24 or more
• Aggregate profit target: greater than 5%
• Maximum drawdown: 10%
• Over-weekend trading: No
• Simulated trading leverage: 1:100
• Minimum trading days: 10
• Trading bots allowed: No
• Copy trading or signal-based trading: No
• Profit splits during evaluation: No

Funding and growing your account size

Once you successfully pass the evaluation, you will be funded and your trades will be executed in a live account. You will begin with a Tier 1 account and grow from there.

Tier 1 accounts

• Maximum simultaneous trades: 2
• Maximum cash risk per trade: $250
• Minimum 21 trade trailing profit: 10R

Tier 2 accounts, after 50 trades

• Maximum simultaneous trades: 4
• Maximum cash risk per trade: $500
• Minimum 21 trade trailing profit: 10R

Tier 3 accounts, after 100 trades

• Maximum simultaneous trades: 4
• Maximum cash risk per trade: $1,000
• Minimum 21 trade trailing profit: 10R

Tier 4 accounts, after 200 trades

• Maximum simultaneous trades: 4
• Maximum cash risk per trade: $2,500
• Minimum 21 trade trailing profit: 10R

Commodities: XAUUSD, XAGUSD, WTI, BRENT, GOLD, COPPER, ALUMINIUM, LEAD, ZINC

Forex: Major and minor currency pairs supported by the connected trading platform.
